Hey there !
I'm Baudouin Jager, an analog photographer and storyteller based between Paris and London.
In 2006, my dad bought a Jaguar XJ-S, with which he drove us to school every day, the same Dire Straits CD permanently jammed in the radio. Those journeys planted a love of classic cars that never left.
I came to photography a decade later as a way to document life and capture the cars around me. I drifted towards film for its unique esthetic and as a way to slow down and be more deliberate. I've been committed to it ever since.
My work focuses on the people who make up the classic car and historic racing world, and the experiences they live. Most of it is shot on 35mm, using a Leica M6 TTL and Nikon F5 and medium format, using a Fuji GW690ii.
When I'm not shooting, I enjoy learning to become a better cook or making memories road-tripping across Europe in my '06 BMW Z4 Coupé.
